OFFICIAL: TOTTENHAM COMPLETE JANSSEN DEAL

Tottenham have signed Netherlands international Vincent Janssen on a four-year deal, the club have confirmed.Spurs have long been linked with a move for the 22-year- old striker, who was top scorer in the Eredivisie last season, and have now completed the deal after reaching an agreement with AZ Alkmaar.
Reports suggest that Spurs have paid £18.8 million for Janssen, and the striker will provide support to Harry Kane as Mauricio Pochettino's side again attempt to mount a title challenge in 2016-17.
“I'm incredible happy that I can make this step to Tottenham Hotspur," Janssen told AZ's official website. "I'm glad the clubs finally agreed [a deal]. I've shakedeveryone's hands and I leave via the front door. I think it's a great deal for all three parties. I'm leaving for a great football nation, and will play in the Champions League.
I had the best football year of my life with AZ. The people I've worked with were fantastisc. My step to AZ was a fine step, I can only look back to my time in Alkmaar with a positive feeling." Janssen becomes Spurs' second signing of the summer, following the arrival of midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton.
